Job Description / Responsibility

• Supplier Relationship Management
• Identify right suppliers for material
• Understand trend information from R&D team and identify right suppliers for development of materials with price effectiveness
• Where relevant, identify appropriate mills/ printers/ WEP units
• Manage direct supply chain relations with fabric / yarn suppliers, cotton traders
• Evaluate suppliers on multiple criteria (price, quality, service, reliability etc.)
• Improve overall material supplier performance, educate them on H&M requirements (Quality, Sustainability)
• Update and manage supply base data into our systems, primarily SPUR
• Work with the local/ global SMR to implement the sustainable material strategy for the region
• Internal Communication and Cooperation
• Have a strong cooperation with R&D, merchandisers, Quality team and Sustainability team for effective execution.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to develop suppliers for material development and buying
• Cooperation with Suppliers
• Keep close contact with material suppliers for updated status on deliveries; coordinate with garment suppliers if necessary.
• Regular communication, give and receive feedback to improve performance

• Textile/garment production experience
